classes!

Just registered for classes. Let me just say that journalism classes and anthropology classes do not get along well. Journalism classes tend to be in the morning with afternoon labs. Anthro. classes are usually in the afternoons, seemingly always TR 7, 7-8, or 6 6-7. LOL. This does not match well when my options for journalism labs are T 6-8, R 6- ( Read more... )

Who's teaching General Antho? Don't take it with... Bernard, I think his name is. God he was horrible.

I tried Museology for one day, but it didn't seem too interesting to me. Also you had to do field trips which would have been a pain since I had classes immediately before & after.

Don't think it's Bernard, so I think I'll be ok. They seem to be changing it each semester. I think the section I signed up for is actually "staff" right now. Have to wait and see!

Hopefully Museology is better now, because I can't really fit any of the other cool electives in thanks to that editing lab.

STA 2023 shouldn't be too bad of a class. I took it Spring 2005 with Dr. Randles. He was a very boring man, and I didn't really learn too much. I never studied or did any homework problems, and I barely got an A in there. I honestly can't remember anything from that class other than the fact that my final exam was at 7:30am on a Saturday. Good luck with your classes though.

Hopefully that's the case with me. I'm not really good at word-problem type math, so I'm hoping I do all right.

I'm more into Calculus myself, so word problems are definitely not my thing. In the Stats book, the word problems can be quite lengthy. On the exams, the problems are really short, so you don't have to read too much, and everything you need to know is given to you. You don't have to pick and choose what information to use from a long paragraph. You should totally be alright as long as you have a good calculator that you really know how to use.

Yeah, I know how that is. After having no class on fridays, it was so weird to go back to five days. Crappy!
