Macro resultsSo they posted the answer key this morning! I got a 68 base score, plus three points extra credit for taking the early test. That gave me a 71, so now I was just praying for a one point curve (a 71 gave me a 75.25, .25 away from a C+). I came home to find an EIGHT point curve waiting for me. And as I've said before, if he wasn't the coolest teacher ever, he would be the most hated teacher ever because the way he grades! lol.

Thankfully for him he's just about one of the funniest people I've ever met =)

My writing teacher was like that. He's a laid-back kind of fella who never shook his hippy ways. He's super cool and brilliant, and he's about the only teacher I'll go to talk to if I need advice on anything...I guess because I'm more relaxed around him and I value his opinion. But sometimes he can be a real smart-ass and rub people the wrong way...and he can be a bit harsh on grading...especially on research papers. But most people love him anyway (just not his classes).

As much as I really hate the heat at home (it sounds like it's about the same as Florida), I'm starting to miss it. It's 50 here and raining and it's JULY! I would love to go for a swim and be able to drink something cold. Oh well, I'll get my wish soon enough and probably want to be back here.
