So Dustin, Devin and I had dinner at the Alehouse tonight, and then actually made it to the Atlantic. The atmosphere is much cooler than Eddie C's or Common Grounds (prior to the move, haven't been to the new Common Grounds yet), although they seriously need some better airconditioning. I feel you on the AC in venues. The Loveland (venue I was at last night) was a steam bath. Almost unbearable for 3 1/2 hours.

Nothing like getting death-stares from a bunch of scenesters.

I like it when the Goth kids start talking about "Don't conform!" when they all get thier club wear from Hot Topic. And pink is not the new black dammit! Most of the older goths (you know, 23 and older) know that they conform in thier own way. (I must not have looked at LJ in a while, so many posts I don't recognize...)
