Adventurous - Just sitting around the house is not something that appeals to you. You love to be out trying new things and really experiencing life.
Liberal - Politics matters to you, and you aren't afraid to share your left-leaning views. You would never be caught voting for a conservative candidate.

It's weird that most seem to have problems with Trillian... I very rarely have problems... Thankfully. Oh, and I disabled the function that automatically puts you on idle if you don't touch the mouse or type. Try that. ;)

Sorry to hear about Spike... Poor boy!

There are no major problems. But I'm finding it rather counter-intuitive. It's hard to work out how to disable things...

It's the IM of Satan :p

Your dogs really are accident prone. Try wrapping them in cotton wool - might shut Squish up too. :D

I quit using Trillian because it was a massive memory hog and annoyed the crap out of me, especially since I only run two messengers anyway--AIM and ICQ. (Yahoo! and MSN are from Satan.) Running those two simultaneously still takes up less memory than just running Trillian.

I might be one of the few people who finds Trillian more hassle than it is worth.

Try match.com. Lanzman met his fiancee that way. He also had a couple other dates that way. I've known a few people who used it just to make friends when they were new to the area. It is free of spyware as far as I know. Lanz didn't have any problem with that.

...but they want money before they'll send you anyone. I still might, though.

True, but almost all reputable sites will. You just have to decide how much it is worth to you. Of course, there are real life alternatives, if you really want to venture out into the world and try them. That's pretty scary though. ;)

I'm also giving that some serious thought...

Thank you :)

Can you get me any dog-sized ones, then? He has rather small, neat feet...

Spike needs doggie boots. :D Still, I trust he's in better shape than Prickle's vet is at the moment. ;)

Trillian is, IMNSHO, greatly overrated...although it's occasionally useful when MSN keels over, I suppose....

Now I'm worried that Trillian will eat up my laptop's memory. :( I had it on my desktop computer and after a month of running it just stopped connecting me. Period.

I wanna hear about the Trekkie specific site, too.

Try Gaim instead of Trillian. As far as I know it supports everything Trillian does, but it's definitely not a memory hog. (<8 MB, meaning that it's smaller than AIM alone is.)

I found it!

The English ones don't look like a real inspiring bunch, though. Maybe you'll have better luck. You know what bugs me? I've met enough excellent, attractive men that liked me back online to have a different one every night of the week if I wanted to (and I do, make no mistake about that). And every bloody one of them's on the wrong continent.

I'm not quite sex-starved enough to up sticks and relocate just yet, but I'm getting there...
