Can I like the poem and still dislike the red hat society?

Absolutely. I've only vaguely heard of them, actually, but it strikes me that making a society for it entirely misses the point.

Exactly! Apparently to be at a society event you are required to wear purple with a red hat. Unless you're under a certain age, then you're required to wear pink...

I was thinking about this this weekend when we went to Como Park and had to navigate through large groups of red hat society ladies. Their hats were so large, I kept running into the brims.

I must be old! I love wearing purple, and my red hat is to die for!

I have no need to practice...I'm already living up to the first part of that poem.

I love the poem, and I like the CUT TAG EVEN MORE *g* (seriously, so few of my flist have been cut-tagging, and sometimes they're really long!)

Inorite? it bugs me too. I usually cut anything that comes out longer than two paras and I always cut poems, lyrics, quizzes and pictures. I like my journal tidy XD
