Superlative day

May 10, 2007 19:58

What with one thing and another, I am getting either no sleep, or sleeping like a zombie at the stupidest times, so that this afternoon's pet food delivery woke me, and I had to scurry to put my teeth in while the nice blonde who brings me dead mice and green tripe languished on the doorstep. Then after she left, I put my hand to my neck and felt ( Read more... )

sleep deprivation, tmi, girl parts, inappropriate e-crushes, blondes, mud wrestling, amusing mishaps

Yeah. Most of it is my own fault, but not all - there have been a few nights lately where I lie down and just cannot sleep. And I'm too old now to do that and not fall asleep in the afternoon. And then it all just goes haywire. My circadian rhythm doesn't know whether it's bum or breakfast time right now.

Last night I wondered what the hell I was doing wide awake at 2 am. I had fallen asleep around 10.30 pm and then when I woke up to go to the loo I couldn't go back to sleep again. And it's not because someone was stealing the duvet or snoring or trying to elbow me or anything. I was just awake. It took two bloody hours to go back to sleep again (one hour of reading) and in the morning I woke up with a splitting headache. That's the worst thing - the headache I've been having the past days because of my lack of sleep. *sigh* The whole day is ruined by it all. Because I'm not in a creative spell right now (I sure could need one of those creative spells right now though) I can't work late or all night either and use this to my advantage. Oh well. I only need to be completely done by May 22nd. No stress. No stress at all.

I sympathize with the itchiness. My first outbreak was insane. I had to wear heavy socks on my hands when I slept, otherwise I scratched in my sleep so bad, I actually created sores. It was near madness if I started scratching because I honestly could not stop.
And I was like that for a month.

So, yeah. All I can recommend is oatmeal baths, and anti-itch cream and heavy socks or ovenmitts for your hands. And I'll send you lots of good thoughts.

Yes. It burns, it burns usss, preciouss!

This morning I dug out my epilator and ripped most of my pubic hair out by its roots. That has helped a lot, too.

Multiple groins?
