That sucks!

BTW, have you been giving me neopoints stuff? I had two random items show up in my item list, but no message saying they were given!

Nope, that wasn't me. I have had that happen once though, it was a Spooky Treasure map piece that just appeared with no message or random event or anything.

I don't know but I think it may be a result from the Wheel of Excitement - have yopu had it land on "secret item" lately? I thought that might be it...

Not that I know of. I got 46np this morning and 100np yesterday... but yeah, I randomly received a petpet laboratory piece and a code stone today for no apparent reason (not that I'm complaining!).

Thanks darling. It's not been a good day. I can cope all right if I'm expecting it - get them walked early and get Spike dosed - but when they start randomly going off at 4pm it throws us all off.

oh hell yes. Luckily we have some fresh Rescue Remedy. I think the old bottle was losing its potency - or, more likely, it was just the alcohol in it.

Brit people do fireworks on New Year's Eve?

We're all too lazy to do that in the cold. Except for my up-the-hill neighbors who randomly set them off, including plenty of duds that inspire my mom to thing that since fireworks bang twice, it must've been a gunshot and yell at everybody to get downstairs until I manage to convince her that it was fireworks.

British people are a bunch of fucking pyromaniacs. I think it's our way of compensating for not being able to walk round with guns.

Ahhh. I'd fit in. Pity I can't switch places with frightened dogs, but my cats would have a minor fit before they realize he's friendly.

Graaa, I hate premature fireworks! And YES I so used the word premature on purpose and thought of something else that's pretty damn close to the same thing. *seethes*

Luckily our animals have used to be pretty blasé about fireworks. The dog whimpers a bit at first and then is okay if she has people near her. The cat used to crawl up on one of the chairs under the kitchen table and glare at the world until it stopped being noisy.

But the neighbours are still asstards. I'm glad we have laws against fireworks on any other day of the year. :-\

I wish there were some more laws here. All we have is that they can't be sold to under-sixteens (not much use) and they they're not supposed to be set off after 11pm (not enforced).

I'm lucky that out of six animals, only one objects strongly to fireworks. Just as well, because I don't know how I'd cope with any more hysterics.
