I know it's hard to stay around

I knew three people whose birthday was today; my mother's two sisters, Marian Junior (Auntie Juni) and Susan Jennifer (Auntie Sue). They were twins, and (I think) two years younger than my mother, so they would have been sixty-two today. Auntie Juni was fortyish when she died, Auntie Sue was (I think) fifty.

thank you. thank you very much.

i know i'll be ok, i know the bad day will pass. it just feels like hard work to keep breathing right now.

stopping's not an option though. too many lives depend on mine and besides, I really don't want to stop. I like life. I just don't like it today.

I've been listening to a song the past few days with the line
"Love doesn't walk away, only people do."

I think that works on many levels.

Yes, absolutely. Even when people break up and move on, it's still there. Love isn't subject to linear time or mortality.
