Just found one of these on my morning dogwalk. I didn't notice the zigzag web thing, I was too entranced by her amazing pop-art stripes and colours. Will take the camera with me later and see if I can get my very own pic of her. She was stunning

Yup! I went in to have a pee on Sunday and damn near fell through the floor. Mum's been in there, but she didn't notice because although she's regained a little weight since being at Sister T's, she's still very little - but the soggy floorboards couldn't hold me...

cool spiders!

i was sitting on the steps on my deck last night and i looked over and there was a teeny tiny spider like the size of a pin head hanging on this beautiful little web right next to my elbow. very cute.

The cross spider isn't bad of course either, but that wasp spider is prettier. =)

I do love the cross spiders with their pretty patterns but there's one every five feet at this time of year. The wasp spider was a novelty.
