I think it's been longer than that since I last went. huntingdon and I shamelessly use arranging the TrekBBS meet-ups as an excuse to visit places we want to see. The last one I organised was at London Zoo, and the last one he organised was at the Greenwich Observatory.

The architecture was breathtaking. I could have spent a week just looking at that without even starting on the exhibits.

too soon to really think about it. Tempted to do the Zoo again, though...

Oh yes, definitely! I'll have to find a suitably cultured spot in Devon...

Thanks for saying hello to me via topbit at London Bi Fest, it made me feel all glowy. I've not been to the Natural History Museum in years - it looks excellent. Glad you had fun.

It was fun for part of the time - most of the time I found it overwhelming. I escaped early, went home and watched CSI. I missed seeing 3 people on my friends list (including you) in doing so.

well, some fun beats no fun! I got there at half-ten or elevenish or so... looked like a good event. I was glad I caught a little of it.

The British Natural History Museum looks like it's in as interesting a building as the Canadian one.

Got a website for the Canadian one? (too lazy to Google, even...)

Voila.

I found a good picture on Google, too, though. It's known as "The Castle".
