I am angry and saddened by the attacks on London.
I love London.
The pictures from today make me cry.
I have been to those places...

Is your family ok? I was so worried when I saw that.

Yes, at least we have not heard anything of the contrary. My family over there is HUGE, as you know, with my mom having 10 siblings, and me having around 40 cousins with spouses and also second cousins, as well as extended family like my mom's aunts/uncles and cousins it's rather hard to keep track of EVERYONE. My mom finally, after a day of trying was able to get a hold of my Aunt Anne, the phones over there were horribly tied up. We seem to have eveyone accounted for.

Eric and I were appalled. Worse was our president's reaction to the whole thing. His first comment when informed about the attacks was something about "this is the reason we are fighting terror", not genuine sympathy for Londoners.

London is one of the oldest cities and they have endured it all-and always come back stronger. We have faith in that.

We hope your family is all ok and my prayers are with you and them.

Love,
Andie

London is the most accepting city. They open their doors to EVERYONE and never lable them. There are no Polish-English, African-English, Italian-English. They don't lable~~~ the just accept and embrace. The cultural flavor over there is phenominal... It saddens me. AND yes thet have endured, and hopefully they always will.
