Oh, sorry. Picture 1: Cathedral tower, Great Hall and Tom Quad. Picture 2: Peckwater, one third of. My rooms were the ones on the upper right top floor, first two windows and three more around the corner. Picture 3: The Great Stair leading into... Picture 4: The Great Hall, where we ate all our meals.

Have you read Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy? They take place in part in an alternate-universe Oxford. A sort of steampunk world with airships and magic.

It sounds like you had a (mostly) wonderful time! I'm so glad you got to go. :)

Yes, of course. AND saw the movie. He based "Jordan College" on his own Oxford college, Exeter, but the movie used Christ Church's Tom Quad for locations.
