Even if you are suggested to get a root canal, DON'T! EVER! You are better off just getting the tooth pulled and a fake implanted. I had two horrible root canals done when I was 16 or so and I always thought something didn't feel right with them. I had two teeth on top pulled a few years before them, and that was on top. My root canals are on the bottom. Two weeks ago a tooth between my bottom wisdom and one root canal cracked and started breaking out of nowhere. I wasn't eating anything hard. It just happened. I searched online for the dangers of a cracked broken tooth and if it was something I should go to a 24 hour dentist, or if a week or two of waiting would be ok. In the middle of the search results page I noticed a website being described as root canal dangerous health and decided to go to it. What I read pretty much made me feel betrayed and violated. There are studies and writings and proof from people who've had root canals done that show they cause infection and sometimes cancer and other sickness, and when removed many ( ... )

A nice late twenties nurse came out and said to follow her for xrays. I got a 360* which spins around your whole face, and four singles after I got into the chair. She even offered to get me a bottle of water and asked if my bf might want one too and I thought that was really nice of her. She sat in the corner and listened and asked questions when the dentist was explaining. We both thought that was pretty good considering most normal dentist offices most of the assistants and nurses just want to do their job and go in the break room. So the dentist had come in and was a nice normal older looking guy, calm voice and didn't try to act superior. He turned his bad ass computer towards the whole side of the room that I, my boyfriend, and the nurse were sitting so all 5 of us could see the screen. After a few minutes of talking and him ( ... )

One more interesting fact, in other countries like Europe, it says that most doctors will make you get all root canals and any metal in your mouth before even started cancer treatment, because they have found that most of the time a lot of the sickness will start to go away by itself. That was probably the longest lj comment I ever wrote, but I wanted to let you of all my friends on here know the truth that I am dealing with, in hopes that you don't ever get a root canal and that anyone you know should be tested for infections in theirs. Wah! That's all. If you even read half of this I will be surprised haha. <3
