- Since Alien is on tv, reminded me. I'm pretty excited about Neil Blomkamp doing Alien 5 as a direct sequel to Alien/Aliens and totally ignoring Alien 3/Resurrection. Because I have always hated that 3 killed off Newt and Hicks (I understand Carrie Henn was done with acting, but they could've recast Newt), and I am perfectly okay with undoing it

yes! supposedly a direct sequel to Prometheus AND this one to do a different take on ending Ripley's story. Sigourney Weaver is apparently already on board, and they're talking to Michael Biehn to bring him back too.

yeah, i read abotu that, that no one had picked it up, which is odd to me given it's got fewer eps, is still marvel, plus Haley Atwell and James d'arcy have to be better known there, than here!

It really is all those things! they've done such a good job with the characters and at least trying with the case-of-the-week to make them something we haven't already seen a billion times. I hope they kinda see the writing on the wall and give us a real series finale of some kind to wrap it up.

I wish it had more of a fandom so there might be a chance to save it. At least Agent Carter, with roughly the same ratings has the power of fandom and the Marvel name to bring it back, but Forever is just doomed. :(
