I only watched Galaxy Quest once, so for me your story's appeal was mainly Gwen's POV and how she dealt with the situation. (I did find it thanks to a rec list... and I think I then recced it on my LJ?)

I'd never read your Derek fic (TSCC) written for Yuletide, because I wasn't watching the show yet. I like it.
