Since I should do posts that aren't just whining about writing, how about last night's Batman?

I really enjoyed last night's episode. And I really want the two "assets" (Carter and Lionel) to be outed to one or the other.

If Stanton's dead, did Reese kill her, thinking she was bad and she wasn't? Is she really dead, but Snow did it and set Reese up to take the fall for it?

IDK what about the woman who hacked Finch's computer the other week? I kinda think it might be her.

Oh yes, I can't wait for Carter's face when she figures out that Fusco's part of it too. hee

I thought of that, too, that the hacker woman is also Stanton, and if they want to be tidy that's who it has to be. But we don't have any indication (yet) that Stanton had that kind of skill; she seemed more a field operative than computer technie person. I think I'd rather Root be connected to Finch, as a separate story, and leave Stanton as part of Reese's story - but I guess we'll find out.

Also, it clarified the timeline that he was there 4 months - which still begs the question of what happened to set off his downward spiral. I FEEL like it should have something to do with Jessica or Stanton, since it's not clear when either of them died (if in fact Stanton's dead at all. Or Jessica. I assume so because she was one of the numbers, but that was some time ago.)

Jessica's number came up in what, 2006? And she was still alive for the 2008 flashback. Though she could've been the perpetrator, I suppose.

Reese was on the streets in that area for 4 months, but he had to have been spiraling for some time before that, right? I doubt it was agent to bum in just a few days.

Elias's evil plans: 1) eliminate Scott Cohen as a potential leak and 2) talk to John Reese on the phone?! Heee. And all the steps to get to the phone conversation, too... he totally has a cop-crush on Carter's abilities to figure things out. (And what did Elias have to say to John, anyway?! I'm guessing he'll mention John's 'removal' of the hit on ( ... )

True, it probably wasn't "yay agency" to "homeless' ' in 4 mos but four months seems plausible for the period he was hardcore drinking. So whatever happened might have been as long as a year before, but seems like not much before that. Did we get a date when Snow told Carter about Stanton's death? I don't think he did, but I'm not sure.

I know, right? All the trouble Elias went to, to get John on the phone! hee. I imagine to make a point that he knew John was getting in the way again, and threaten him, probably. And gloat over his millions, too - since I'd bet his profit taking was sent offshore and laundered before the police/SEC got involved.

The four months for the hardcore drinking totally makes sense, yes. I'm guessing the regular haircuts and shaving ended well before then, though; I can't see managing to grow that much hair in four months?
