Aw... you break my heart with half your fics, hon. *heavy sigh* I love Sam's character and you've perfectly captured that 'goodness' that I adore. Even when he's allowing himself to be hurt. The connection of understanding with Dee was lovely. The fact that they step back from temptation actually speaks volumes about both characters and the truth of your characterization of them.

aw. *g* I have done the other way already - where Dee and Sam give in - but at least for this one I wanted to do what felt real for them. They hurt, but they're not going to give in that easily.
