True Love, Meme Style

Dec 11, 2005 22:55

Okay, so, I saw Narnia on friday, and I have a reaction to it I'm writing, but I really want to give it a post of its own.

So instead, have some memes and crap. :)

From kernezelda: I made a couple of (scarrily typical for me) S/Z ficlets with the Automatic Drabble Maker

This is practically CANON )

gaming, memes, fic meta, s/z, farscape

Pretty cool how they used that pic for your gender meme result.

Yeah, it's actually pretty funny how much they look alike. :)

I've been shipwrecked on a dead island for the last ten years, living like light dappling through leaves, scattering patches of light and dark over everything.

Poetic, but given that Zhaan would be the leaves, it's hard to imagine her dappling through them herself.

And I wish my tread was golden. *pouts*

Yes well, you might have noticed it was a "mad lib" - it asked me for an extended metaphor, and I gave it "like light dappling through leaves, scattering..." etc etc, which is why that phrase shows up in both stories. More appropriate in the second one, though. :)

And I wish my tread was golden. *pouts*

Don't we all. :)

Indeed, but hey, you can't go too far wrong with a good poetic metaphor, no matter how strange it fits with everything else.

For the record, I also wish I was iridescent and a blue love. And possibly that my knocks shone, but I don't wanna get greedy here.

I had a lot of fun picking those adjectives, and in a S/Z fic almost anything works. :)
