CRAZY DARK ANGSTY CONSPIRACY SPACE OPERA. WHERE EVERYONE WEARS LEATHER AND STABS EVERYONE ELSE IN THE BACK. YES.

Ha! That may be as good a description of B7 as I've seen. :)

And B7 certainly does have its share of crack, although I do have to give the "craziest crack" award to Farscape still. :)

I remember with crystal clarity (and still own!) my very first DC comic. It's Secret Origins #15 - Batgirl and Dr Mid-Nite. Dr Mid-Nite was kinda cool, but I utterly fell in love with Babs in that comic.

For me it was from the Huge Crush on Dina Meyer, after which I BEGGED aj to help me find more Barbara Gordon stuff...and I learned (with difficulty!) at age 30+ to read comics (which I had never been able to do; couldn't parse the image+words+sequence+processing) in order to catch up on the canon so I could read more of the fanfic (all of which is set in the comicsverse).

Now that's dedication! I sadly have never seen any Birds of Prey but I am told by very reliable sources that Dina's Babs is very very good.
