Peson I would [x] in fandom [y] meme answers

Aug 28, 2008 18:18

I have decided to just post all the responses to last post's meme in its own post, as opposed to a bazillion comments only the person who commented is going to see.

As an aside - holy frajitos, some of the Fandoms you guys picked just boggles me....

arsinoee asked for "Farscape!"

Good Question! Bad Answer. )

sg1, matrix, watchmen, doctor who, firefly, fc, sam/rodney, numb3rs, smith, donna, farscape, narnia, muppets, stark, sga, memes

You know, much as I adore Stark, his track record with the technical stuff is, uh... kind of scattershot. But, hell, he'd still be a lot more likely to get the MP3 player fixed than, say, I would.

And the Rani might deserve the thumbtacks, but you do realize that she'd probably analyze the traces of DNA you left on them and come track you down. :)

I've been wanting to do this meme, but I'm refusing to let myself get distracted by memeage until after I've finished editing this stupid ficathon story I'm working on. And various people seem to have supplied most of the answers I'd give, anyway.

That was my thinking. Plus I mean, we ARE talking post purple-light-of-lucidity (best. phrase. EVER) so theoretically he'd be, y'know GOOD at fixing stuff. Because why the hell would fixing stuff be part of his crazy?

I will use gloves. and wear a face mask. and maybe a biohazard suit.

*grins* So you havn't been replaced by a podperson. Good, good...

Yeah, I had that problem with Doctor Who, as you can see...

I do imagine that actually being able to concentrate would help. :)

I wouldn't put it past her to find you anyway. ;)

Not that I'd noticed. But then, I might be programmed not to, if I were.

If there's anything movies have taught me, it's that the podpeople are never that good.

I KNOW. So many of the Q episodes feel like buddy movies to me, too - especially the later picard ones and the Janeway ones.

Fun Fact: Kate Mulgrew and John DeLancie are BFF in real life, if I recall correctly.

I have to agree Nite Owl is awesome. It really means something that he even has a stablizing/sanifying effect of Rorschach of all people. :D

(Also Sally=Laurie in some of these?)

Not that an Agent would EVER love ANYONE back of course :)

"Do you believe you're fighting for something? For more that your survival? Can you tell me what it is? Do you even know? Is it freedom? Or truth? Perhaps peace? Yes? No? Could it be for love? Illusions, Mr. Anderson. Vagaries of perception. The temporary constructs of a feeble human intellect trying desperately to justify an existence that is without meaning or purpose. And all of them as artificial as the Matrix itself, although only a human mind could invent something as insipid as love." (Agent Smith)

Well, of that I'm painfully aware. That's why it's a hopeless crush. XD

*shakes head* I just don't get people who make lj's/facebooks for fictional characters - unless it's for roleplaying, I guess.

Not really, no. I mean, I get the joke, I get why it's supposed to be funny - I just don't get why anyone would bother. *shrugs* Different strokes for different folks.
