Frelling Yahoo just kicked me off again, and since I plan on going to movie night tonight...

DUDE! Pocky cures all ills, as I tried to explain to my hoplelessly American boyfriend (no offence to Americans, it's just.... yeah...). He /totally/ did not get why finding Pocky was such an amazing thing...

Oh and, even though Regina has some of the worst neighborhoods anywhere, i still feel safer there than anywhere i've been - except maybe Omaha, and only because you KNOW Dante'd kill anyone who tried to hurt me....

...it's an Otaku thing, I think. You have to be at least part anime fan to get it.

I'd feel safer walking downtown Winnipeg in the middle of the night, rather than North Central in the middle of the night. Granted, no one would likely approach me... but still.

Having spent a good chunk of my formative years in and around Atlanta, I've got a very different idea of what constitutes a "bad neighborhood." Truckin' around any given section of Regina at zero-dark-thirty? Not a problem. MARTA station after sundown? Never in a million billion years.
