I knew you would be the one person (at least) on my flist to give me hell about this. But it's okay. I've given you plenty of hell about lots of other stuff. ;)
Yes, the NJ con could be dreadful for poor Misha, especially the first 10 or 15 minutes of seeing me. I figure that's about how long it would take me to pull myself together and get a grip on reality. And, honestly, that's longer than I'm strictly comfortable with. But whatcha' gonna do?
I'm firmly in the pro-Castiel camp. However, I do want the writers to step up and actually give him something to do if he's going to be a regular cast member. I don't understand why he's been used the way he has this season. Regardless of our feelings, the die has been cast and we'll see what fate has in store for all of them over the next few weeks. I only hope I don't end up all depressed and threatening to break up with show all summer. :(

Just so much THIS, I can't even say it any better. Castiel has been labeled unfairly and it's 100% laid at the writer's feet. But it's not too late. I really hope these last few episodes don't crush certain parts of fandom (ours). I'm hoping that TPTB have really been listening to fandom and not just been cruising around for amusement purposes.

Well, you know me--Imma watch the show no matter what. I'd still fucking watch if one of the bros wandered around with the other one dead in the ground (although I would never psychologically recover and you'd be visiting me weekly in THE HOME and feeding me pudding).
That being said, the more I think about Castiel leaving, the more panicky I get!! I will miss him like whoa! I DO NOT want him hanging around useless, though, so if they're gonna keep him THEY'D BETTER DO SOMETHING WITH HIM.
I had more thoughts, but stupid work stuff effed my concentration. pfft.
