Still working on a jury-rigged system to post this as my main computer is sitll on the blink, but I really do want to finish posting this within the next week.

( In which Alex goes on a ride to nowhere...the superheroes bicker...Alex finds out that Willow plans to cast a spell on him...Alex loses complete control...the superheroes get confused...and Alex is the victim of the invisible hand of fate... )

Gah. I'm with Buffy, a Willow who thinks she has it under control, doesn't. And I love Spike for hanging in there with Alex, and I haven't spotted the massive flaw with the plan, but I can tell there is one (Xander! Dude! You have to come back too!) and I don't want Alex to die, not at all, but...

And awesome writing on that last paragraph. Lovely.

Yay! Word painting an image worked!

You don't want to know how many hours I put into all the text after "It was a good run, mate." I kept paring it down, and paring it down, and paring it down some more. It was...gah!

Glad you like it. As for the end...ummmm, would it help if I said that I re-wrote almost a dozen times?

*nod nod nod* Paring it down is the roughest part of writing. Going 'No, this is too much... but ooo, I love this bit, but.. no, no, must restrain self, argh....'

AAAARGH. Oh my.

Cliffhangers are so cruel. This has been a great ride with Alex. And while I like my Xander, I can't help but wish that Alex stays on somewhere. Or do I hope that he'll be gone completely?
I don't really know. I do know, that I want to know how it ends. Please!
