Ah! I remember that episode. It's been awhile . . . That's not really suprising to me, because Nog is my favorite DS9 character, lol. And even my favorite character of the entire realm. His strength in going to do that what he wants with his own life, fulfilling his own dreams and ambition is something I always greatly admired in him. And of course of his comic side. It's because of Nog that I also became a fan of Xander: someone who wants to be on the front lines of the war against darkness with the only support of his own belief. And they have both the same bravery determination. Remember Nog/O'Brien on a mission.
Of course the Garek/Nog scenes are similar to Xander/Spike.
