Your link to the Moveable Type issues is mainly about technical problems - but there as an occurence much more similar to the LJ Strikethrough when MT was moved from having only a free version to having both free and pay licenses. SixApart stuck their new pay licensing plan with ridiculously high prices up on their site and within a few weeks they had to reduce them quite a bit and offer an unrestricted personal version. 6A simply has no idea who their users are or what they think or want. I'm offended by their timing. Seriously - they *have* to be high to offer this 'bargain' now, when people are still understandably pissed. Bad form, LJ, bad form.
