Joining the Chorus

As someone who tries to be fair, even when the other party isn't, I can only say that I hope Jerry Falwell's god shows his immortal soul more mercy than Falwell ever showed to to his fellow man.

But in as far as the earthly realm goes, I can only think, "Good riddance to bad rubbish."

73 years too late. Falwell's an excellent reason why abortion must be kept legal.

Fairness, schmairness. I think Falwell had the most ironically appropriate name for a televangelist ever.

Knowing little of Falwell apart from his reputation, I followed the link.

He seemed both odious and stupid - denying writing a book is just foolish. And the idea that global warming is a ctually a conspiracy by the Weather Channel I found hilarious!

I don't have authority or desire to determine people's location in the afterlife. I don't hate the man, but I certainly can't say I'll miss him.

Here Here!

I will not cheer his death. To do such a thing would be to imitate the man, and I REFUSE to give him that much victory over my soul. Rather, I will mourn a life wasted, and wonder what he would have been had not the poison of hate taken root in his being.
