Wow. That was a good talk. I was really afraid they were going to leave that room still at cross purposes and misunderstanding each other horribly. As it is, they're both still clue free about some major things but there's an essential level of understanding. Xander's got some reevaluating to do. :)

I love your Faith/Xander interactions in this story. They both have so many issues, in general and with each other, and the subtle and not so subtle ways you have them express that is just a pleasure to read.

Perfect interaction here. Faith has grown up a lot and while still a bot of a hothead, she's a lot smarter than people give her credit for and she's learned to channel her natural aggressiveness. Xander, hopefully, is finally realizing that people change (which is soemthing that Xnader has never been good about. First impressions tend to become permanent impressions.)

I didn't catch the name either, but I've always been terrible about sounding words out.

Someone mentioned in a previous chapters comments the possibility of Faith getting Emo'd and Xander killing the beastie, and ending up vicariously experiencing some Faith-related trauma.

But the reverse also has promise. Faith rescues Xander, and ends up with a headfull of why he's on the run, of what happened between him and D'Hoffryn and Rhona, etc.

Or heck, an Emo could show up at Slayer central, attack Andrew, and Xander could end up with a headfull of Andrew's least favorite moments, including fiddly little stuff like *seeing Anya gutted like a trout.*

You've created a powerful storytelling tool in this Emokillsus / trauma-sharing thing, 'Liz. Can't wait to see how, or even if, you use it.

That is a really good possibility, also the Andrew thing. Yep really good device for getting all three to confront their past or to reveal untold portions.

Or maybe it could be all three ? Although Andrew being back at base is the least at risk.
