Two of my favorite bands ever, Pixies and They Might Be Giants.

Nice!

I've been staring at your icon trying to figure out if that dude is picking his nose or pushing up his glasses.

Heee!

Glad you approve. :-) Of course, you live fairly close to one of the U.S. musical meccas. If I was from Texas, I'd have to do a subset of a subset of a mix (I've gotten quite fond of Americana recently).

This was trying enough for just my corner of the U.S., and we're not a musical mecca. As it is, people are bringing up bands that I either 1) spaced on; 2) don't have the MP3 tracks for.

Missed (and don't have) so far: Pete Seeger, Godsmack, Powerman 5000, Rob Zombie, Bela Fleck,

On the upside, I remembered that I had to add Arlo Guthrie for 'Alice's Restaurant.'

I'm now up to 70 tracks. Shoot me.

Glad I could get you a track. :-)

I knew people who played in local Boston bands right about the time Letters to Cleo was starting out. I'm within a three-degrees of separation thing with them (no, never met anyone in the band that I know of, just friends of friends).
