Hates on iTunes...

Say it with me, people: "Liz is an idiot."

Liz is an idiot because she staring at a 67-track themed mix at 2 a.m., ensuring cover art is matched to the right individual tracks, and tagging the lot so the information I provide will show up on MP3 players, as opposed to whatever tags iTunes uses.

Did you know that if you indicate the tracks are linked ( Read more... )

The price of perfection is very high. :) Seriously, your dedication humbles me.

Yes, that's the perfect way of putting it. I too am humbled by Liz.

Then again, who isn't?

If I have a vote, I'd go with obsessive/compulsive when it comes to things I like doing. *sighs*

In any case, I actually managed to program the individual tracks to do what I want them to do (a pain in the butt, to be honest) and the first 15 (out of 69) tracks are up now. Tracks 15 through 30 should be up later today.

As for the rest of the tracks, that depends on how cooperative SaveFile is.

Well, I suppose that's a lot better than obsessive/compulsive with things one doesn't enjoy?

Thank you!

*nods nods nods*

On the other hand, MP3 Collector is an awesome library/MP3 tagging/file renaming program. I would've gone out of my skull if I wasn't working with it.

Anyway, the first 15 (out of 69) tracks are up. I'm now wrestling with LiveJournal's post-size limit and SaveFile's upload speed.

Because I can be a bit of a joiner, Liz is an idiot. But because I'm capable of independent thought, Liz is probably over-worked and thus inclined to make a mistake.

No. More like obsessive-compulsive with things I like doing. Although crazy fits for an outside observer.

At least I finished the technical aspects of creating the soundtrack and I even have the first 15 (out of 69) tracks up and available for download. Right now, LiveJournal's posting limits and SaveFile's speed is the thing driving me nuts.
