Like I said in my texts to you: I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS, AND I DID NOT EXPECT TO CRY SO MUCH WOW OMG.

I totally agree about the unfairness of Schue putting pressure on Sam... and also the awesomeness of Skylar Astin, because he was phenomenal and a perfect guest star. And mostly I agree about the crying, because SO MUCH CRYING.

Seriously. I think I need to go take an ibuprofen and drink about a quart of water. I sense a nasty headache coming on.

Yeah, I didn't see this one coming and I have never been so happily (and by happily I mean sobbing) to be surprised. I loved every moment. Also, they continue to raid my early teen music shelf.

Mercedes' story line made me think they really are handing out what happy endings they can. I don't know what to think about New Directions going away, I said it already but, the name of the show is Glee. I'm torn.

So good. I'm quite looking forward to next week's episode, I'm anticipating lots of music but I know we differ there.

I'm ultimately glad that New Directions is going away, because I think Ohio is done and my heart and the interesting stories are in New York. But that doesn't mean I'm not sad about closing this chapter. It's melancholy, it's saying goodbye to something special. I ultimately think it means moving forward to something better, and that it's the right time, but it can be sad, too.

I think I will be willing to suspend my sometimes-dislike of song-heavy episodes for "100." Mostly because I'm working under the assumption that next week is under the category of "Very Special Episodes," so I'm not necessarily expecting much by way of plot. So, in that case, bring on the tunes!

I really, really agree. I was so surprised to enjoy a competition episode, and for it to have SO MUCH HEART. And yet, at the same time, plenty of little bits of absurdity and laughter to keep the whole thing from being too heavy. As someone who frequently cracks inappropriate jokes during sad times, I appreciate the ridiculous amidst the grief.

And I agree, I honestly did not mind the lack of Klaine and the lack of New York. It was a pleasant surprise to get that teensy bit at the end, but I was really okay with that being it. This episode had a job to do, and I think much of that job was wrapping up Lima. I don't think they're done doing it, but it was one of the last big steps along the way.

Really, where did all this “Sam, you’re the leader” stuff come from? Is this to remind us to hate Schue? It feels more and more like they’re really leaving Lima, so this feels like it’s meant to remind me that I don’t need to miss this guy. (Unnecessary. I wouldn’t miss him anyway.)

Still, my favorite thing is that they all look like they’re having a really good time up there. They aren’t as polished as the other groups, but I love that they’re happy.
This was something that really stood out to me, too.

I’m really afraid that one day I’ll be out in public, or in the car with someone with the radio on, and “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” will come on, and I will just start bawling.

I usually don’t care much for competition episodes, but this one? I loved it, even if - or probably because - it made me sad.

I agree, the Sam-as-leader thing was so out of left field. I mean, I love Sam. I think he's a great guy and a fun character. But he's not a leader. ESPECIALLY NOT BECAUSE HE'S THE ATHLETIC STRAIGHT WHITE DUDE, WILL SCHUESTER.

And yes, I very often love the episodes that make me sad. I've said it before and I'll say it again: I often judge the success of Glee by how well it makes me connect emotionally. If it makes me pause the show just so I can cry? Yeah, I'd say I connected.
