The Klaine scene is so bittersweet in hindsight. It is very very clear Blaine needed specifics as to how things were going to work. He needed the set "we'll Skype x amount of times a week. We can call each other at such and such a time every day/night/morning/whatever. And we'll set up times for you to come visit, or me to come back" Whereas Kurt doesn't - and Kurt is clearly the dominant in the relationship, and Blaine doesn't - can't? - bring himself to tell Kurt the generalities he's providing aren't good enough for him.

As much as I feel the writers kinda rushed the deterioration of their relationship in Season 4 (Things seem ok in eps 1 and 2 - and it's only a few - important - beats in ep 3 before things go to hell in ep 4), I have to admit, the seeds are there.

I couldn't agree more. At the time, I wanted to listen to Kurt. I wanted to hand-wave the concerns and just *know* that everything was going to be okay. But in hindsight, wow, Blaine was the one whose worries were maybe more accurate. Which is not to say it *had* to happen, but you could see the writing on the wall after the fact, you know? The cracks in the armor, or something.
