Really interesting insights into Cara: "At nineteen, Cara is a bloodletting terror, a prodigy at dealing pain, but she is vulnerable to bodily hungers - as a veritable legion of dizzied Mord’Sith and several ravaged stable boys could attest. This charge is a test of Cara’s ability to discipline another while exercising self-discipline, and the latter aspect is proving much more difficult than she imagined."

Really, really interesting: "Stubbornly, Cara clings to notions of Mord’Sith honor, pride, and merit - the noble aspects of service she was taught as a girl - though these concepts hold little weight in Darken Rahl’s desolate culture."

Cara's son is still alive!

Cara prides herself on being rational and sensible.

I like how you very simply explained how the big, mean, tough Mord’Sith could fall completely in love with a woman so seemingly normal (but just as brave and devoted as any Mord’Sith).

Your backstory on Cara’s son was very clever! And, to top it all off, Cara in white, presenting herself for all to see as Dahlia’s beloved. So gallant!

Love this!

That was really precious! The Greyfall part is so tense. Cara as a bloodletting terror and then she is trying to comfort Triana. Cara always liked to think and feel independently and she killed her Master, which is unheard of for Mord’Siths ( ... )

I like that this part is centered on Cara. Her musings at the beginning are an interwsting glimps into her past. And the end about Lleyton are an intersting glimps into her future.
