Took delivery of a 2009 (still new) Kawasaki ER-6n this week, and bought a used Canon T1i, so it seemed natural to reel off a few miles this morning (103!! to be exact) and take a picture to commemorate the events. Thanks! It's kind of a step down from the Buell M2, which cooked up to 140 MPH and had a curvy body like Jessica Rabbit in a royal blue dress, but the Kawi is hot in its own angular, mean-faced way.

When you have something between your legs that pulls up to 140, it's difficult not to actually gun it that far. It's like, all you can think about it "OMG I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die. But it's gonna be so fucking awesome until the second I do."

Yup. It is so much easier to push around, it ain't even funny. And yes, ma'am, there is nothing like riding fast to remind one of the importance of having a valid last will and testament. ;-)

If it's feasible for you, I'd urge you to go get one! Call a dealer, ask if they can get you an '09 and make an offer. These models are totally cheap now, and the showrooms are kind of secretly desperate to get rid of them. If you don't ride yet, take a safety course and get out there! :D
