I love how deftly you threaded humor through the story without losing any sense of drama or dignity. I love that Cara, as tempered by Dahlia, is still uniquely Cara. And I love the ending, at which I went DUN DUN DUNNNNNN out loud.

OMFG! That was just fantastic! You’ve turned me upside-down! I am in love with this story- every word, every move -everything, it’s so vivid! I heart C/D so much. Oh, they are awesome together; I felt in my skin how they are in love, both are caught in that first moment when they can’t have enough of each other, just WOW! How they talk and don’t talk, or Cara talks about bolas (!) and for Dahlia it’s all music, Cara’s voice (!) I liked your humor, how it balances a whole story. The plot!!! I kind of was suspicious of a voyeuristic crow…and flipped in the end-Nicci, Darken Rahl! What an epilogue! I am happy that you are having fun writing and I just hope that you are caught in it and will continue. Thank you very much for such a wonderful tale! I like your writing style keenly; actually, your LotS triplet became my favorite. Thanks :D

Really like how you wrote Baron Alphonse Danton (and yep, I snickered at the BAD vanity plate.) He's fully-formed and sympathetic but you still had me wondering whether the other shoe was going to drop, and the Breath of Life would go awry. Great writing. Can't wait to see where this series goes!
