*ventures into town, going into shops and markets asking around if anyone had seen Liz*

*stops in a local tavern, asks the bartender, describes Liz' appearance*
*the bartender tells him of Liz' exploits with alcohol and the good ambassador*

*is shocked, but figures the incident was only a cultural misunderstanding*
*heads to police station in further search*
*arrives, questioning chief of police about the incident, is told Liz is being held in a jail cell in the same building and lead to the cell*

*very happy relieved smile. Starts running off at the mouth due to joy at seeing him.*

Antonio! I had begun to think no one would find me. The sheriff, Bob, says he couldn't reach anyone of the right rank on board ship. He kept asking for a Lieutenant Commander or higher rank about "recompensing" the Ambassador. I don't know if it's tradition or law that he'll speak only to a high ranking officer officially.

I'm really, really glad to see you.

I'm glad to see you, too. Mac and I were worried about you. How long have you been here? The captain and lieutenant commander are still on shore leave, I think, so it's no wonder they couldn't reach them on Enterprise.

well, last night and all of today, so not that long. Except I knew Enterprise was due to leave soon and I didn't want my missing to delay her. I'm fine, I even learned something while in jail.

Hey, what happened to me here is relatively normal as to what happened to Trip and Malcolm on Risa.

well they say they followed two women to what they thought were caves and were robbed by the women who were really male shapeshifting thieves who knocked them unconscious, stole everything but their underwear, tied them up and left there. Then, as no one came into the wine cellar of a pub all day or even after the pub opened, they cut themselves out of the ropes and walked to the shuttle in their blues, robes, and sandals.

Neither willing to say where the robes or sandals came from.
