I'll say this for my kid, she doesn't do anything by halves!  First the wobbly tooth and now she has chicken pox....She's been out of sorts past few days, over sensitive, grumpy and tiring easily which I put down to her being back at school.  She showed me a few spots last night and I was like 'don't be silly, that's not chicken pox' but when I ( Read more... )

Very talented :-) She's fine thanks, feeling a bit rough but it's a minor illness so boredom will be the main obstacle!

Thanks sweetie-she'll be fine, glad she's got it now and not as an adult because it can be very nasty! We're snuggled up watching 'Elf' :-)

I'm fully armed with calamine lotion, bicarb of soda and oats as well as paracetamol and ibuprofen. Plus shelves full of soup and stew ingredients! Really hope she recovers quick-we'll go crazy stuck in the house for three weeks!

*hugs*

Aw doesn't she? I'm pretty biased but she is a stunning kid XD
Even covered with red spots full of fluid she's still a hell of a looker!

I'm hoping to enlist a camera owning mate to take some Myf and me pics so I can show her off a bit lol

As a baby, most people would look at her and see her father (I've read that this is true in most children up to about 2 years old-from an anthropological standpoint so that men can recognize their paternity and protect their offspring)
As she gets older, she's become a lot more like my side of the family, my sister Jess in particuler-her eyes and mannerisms are so mine though lol. I look at her baby pics and I see Myf but the development of her features is amazing. I know I'll always recognize the tiny baby I had in her face as well as seeing those aspects of her genetic heritage-but the mixture that makes her beautiful face is pure Myf. I'm anxious in some ways to know how she'll develop but I know she's going to turn heads!

I wish I had a scanner thing so's I could upload her baby pics-you'd be awwing for days! <<<333
