Parallel 59 review of sorts

Apr 23, 2007 00:28

I had a pleasant surprise on Thursday when I looked at my Doctor Who shelf and discovered an EDA which I hadn't read; Parallel 59. I suspect it was because the blurb makes it clear that the Doctor and Fitz are on different worlds... -pout-

Some spoilery thoughts )

I enjoyed Eight's gigantic amounts of angst over having left Fitz to a possibly horrible fate, especially that bit when he's looking up at the stars a la Ten in Girl in the Fireplace. And Fitz having three women on the go at once, while managing to convince himself that one of them's definitely True Love.

Yes, I liked those bits. But overall, I wasn't overjoyed.

Boo on the being separate, but it sounds amusing enough to read.
