Apart from Arrival, I managed to find a bit more time over Christmas than usual to watch shows.

I have a Shavuot film for us to watch, whch is maybe even better?

Also If YOu Give a Mouse a Cookie is a classic book, but the filme version is recent Amazon Original, and the Christmas filmed version was this year and I get the impression the story was new for the filmed version, although there is a whole series 'If you give a moose a muffin' and 'If you give a dog a doughnut'. I was amused to learn that the author's autobiography is called 'If you give an author a pencil'

That makes sense about If you give a mouse a cookie. New film based on a classic book, that seems very appropriate. And that's lovely about the author's autobiography.

We can totally watch Codependent lesbian space alien seeks same all the time, if you like, it doesn't have to be either shavuot or chanukah. But I was hoping to add to the recs you got on FB just in case you wanted something new. Also I'm curious about the Jewish Christmas movie custom anyway.
