I just figured it out. I used to love this show and I was in love in Gopher. Even the song is so awful, it must have totally screwed me up.

I looked forward to Love Boat mostly because I knew Fantasy Island was on next. I wanted to marry Mr. Roarke.
Do you remember the Love Boat episode with Andy Warhol?

I have to admit that I always watched Fantasy Island right after The love boat too. I liked it when Tattoo ran up the tower and yelled "the plane, the plane". I wanted to move to Fantasy Island when I was a kid. :)
