I am not currently a normal cell phone user.

Cell phones are not REVOs.I'm still sore about cell phones not being as good as my old REVO. That's a hand-held device from the Palm Pilot days which I originally got because it had a small keyboard. Reviews said it was too tiny to use like a typewriter, but I have tiny fingers, so I tried it ( Read more... )

On any Android phone you can use Google sheets and make spreadsheets of everything. That's what I do and it syncs with my laptop automatically.

It's also easy to keep any kind of notes you want in either an Android phone or an iPhone (and surely the same is true of a Windows phone ( ... )

More good ideas! I would never even have guessed that some sort of keyboard case existed.

I'm home a lot and currently don't mind most of my stuff being available only from home. But things change.

One of the many things I miss about my Palm was the ability to copy/paste info on the PC to my PC palm app. Then the next time I synced, it was also on my Palm.

While I'm generally against cloud storage, there are many pieces of info out there (recipies, book series order being big examples) that I don't care of others know I have.

Thus, I'm slowly using an App called Evernote more. It has a PC app, into which I can write lists and text. Then the next time I'm on wifi, it uploads to my phone. And I can see my data even when I'm offline.
