I was going to start Spanish classes in summer, after doing as poorly as possible without lying on any Spanish placement test. Those plans have changed

I'm really glad that we (you, R, P, and I) will be on this adventure together! Andiamo! Oh, wait, isn't that Italian?
My plans for arriving at class will vary as my work schedule varies. I also plan to pre-notify you, my friends and ASG (automatic study group) of my most annoying traits as a fellow student: For one, I will probably not be able to request every class evening off (for being on call), so the very slight possibility exists that I will feel a vibrating phone and have to excuse myself. But that is a risk I am willing to take. My attendance otherwise should be nearly impeccable, so I'm not too worried. I'm sure I'll think of other things. Just thought I'd get that out there :-) Oh, and I don't intend to let our ASG ruin our friendship!
I'll take extra thorough notes when you're out and pass them on.
Hmm, things are different now. I'm used to taking notes on paper. Which would then have to be photocopied (or re-written more neatly or typed up) and handed off or mailed. There may be better ways these days, eh?
I'm not sure what I think about taking notes on a computer in class (or what the instructor thinks). Typing up notes afterwards is good for remembering things--I may see if I like doing that (easy to e-mail) or if I find it's too time-consuming.
Hmm, learning to type Spanish on a linux machine. I like Macs best for that (apple-n, n = n with a tilde, apple-e?-letter = letter with an accent). I'll have to figure that out.
I'll have to figure out those diacritic things too, as I'm on Ubuntu at home. I like the idea of typing up notes afterwards to help retention and might just try it! We can compare notes on that as well. And you're probably right about the account-with-one-expiring-code-thing. Grrr.
