This prom thing is getting out of hand now. My mother took me shopping today, again with no luck.
First we went to this place on Mariner. Everything was real phony - they had fake antique furniture and they were handing out glasses of wine. The lady there looked like she'd had a bit too much plastic surgery (or maybe it was just make-up?) and ( Read more... )

Did you check out Patricia's Boutique?
She has AMAZING dresses and she won't sell the same dress to anyone that is going to the prom you are. It's pretty nice. She's a nice lady, too.

I did, actually. Those dresses are gorgeous but the ones I liked were around $400 which is too steep for me. I found a dress today at David's Bridal so I'm happy now.
