He follows me everywhere....to the kitchen, to the bathroom, not just into the room, but sits within 3 feet of me if not closer

at the very least more human than the one that is going to share most of your life :-). This creates a nice image in my mind of the cat, but somehow it is shattered by a subsequent image of him clawing all over me. I suppose, I will know once he is here. -Bharath.
