The fix was really simple. It turned out I had missed a setting and Apple had not been checking for the setting. They fixed their bug in the 10.4.3 so I have had to fix mine too. LiveWidget 2.1 is available now
I love LiveWidget! However I am not sure how to use the image, cut, and lj-cut features. Is there help out there? Thanks for designing a cool widget, katherine chattanooga, tn

I'm glad you like it. The image and lj-cut features just paste a little bit of code into the post you are writing. The img tag is standard HTML, you can find help with that anywhere on the net. Google is your friend.
The lj-cut tag is specific to LiveJournal and it's for hiding a bit of your post that will only be revealed when someone clicks on it (so it doesn't take up space on Friends pages and the like). The best place to learn about that is this page in the FAQ. Basically one click opens the tag, you then write all the stuff that you want to keep off the front page, then one click to close the tag. It doesn't change the security of the post, but the hidden bit will only show up if someone specifically clicks on it. This is good for post really large images in communities without bothering those on 56k modems
