I assume that he knew Rena from before she was a Lost Rebound. What I'm not sure about is just how long he knew her. I'm tossing up between his being a family friend and assuming that the death of her family (which, I assume, happened when she was very young) caused psychological amnesia, or whether he's a jinki user himself and so recognised the condition. In any case, she's an orphan who was essentially helpless, so he adopted her and began looking after her for about eight years or so. I'm assuming he was a professional photographer, so Rena would go on the trips with him, and see new places. It had the advantage of her being able to be tutored in things without people asking questions.

I kind of assume that he just saw a traumatised little girl and wanted to look after her because either he was the only one or the best one for it.

I also assume that his death came just before her joining the other jinki users. I'm not sure how!

Spoiler and/or Traci's thoughts on the Teen Titans.

SPOILER KNOWS NOTHING OF THE TEEN TITANS (...with Tim as a leader, anyway) AS SHE WAS TAKEN BEFORE IT. \o/

Traci, on the other hand, thinks that the Teen Titans are kind of cute! A bit overly serious and entirely too concerned with stuff that isn't all that relevant, but cute! She knows nothing about the whole "Ravager tries to make Eddie jealous" but probably would find it hysterically funny. Not the least because the likelihood of Jaime taking the first step in anything is downright hilarious. She wouldn't join them -- she has her own team! And they're based in the US and she's based in the UK -- but it's nice that Jaime's got people to chill with.

This is all subject to change come December.

maybe she's just in the book to come save him from the brainwashing.

Would the Power in Ronan's head be a backseat driver in bed?

Yep! It pretty much killed any sex life Ronan had at that time (whatever sex life a 15/16 year old boy from a country town can have, anyway) to have the WD make a sarcastic comment. Seeing as the WD has been everything and done everything, it meant that He was pretty much far more experienced than Ronan. And was kind of bored.

Ronan wanted to die the first time He offered some kind of suggestion.

- Anyone who thinks he didn't have one is kidding themselves, given that he macks on a girl that just showed up like. after meeting her three times.

- his first time was hilariously awkward and bad. Neither one of them knew what they were doing and tragically, the internet wasn't a lot of help.

- the second time wasn't much better.

- sex is kind of like a game, and Ronan likes to win it after a long, drawn out contest. So yeah, he pushes people and they push him back.

- half the time his partner punches him because he won't shut up.

- he steals the blankets afterwards.

AUDIENCE IS ALWAYS WELCOME

I assume it is! Seifer, to my mind, is very fixed about what he wants and how he wants to achieve it. That's my theory as to why he didn't just get brainwashed and controlled like Edea had been; his sanity snapped under the strain. He just couldn't imagine him not being a sorceress knight. I don't see that changing, even post-game. It doesn't help that Squall is a sorceress knight himself! On the one hand, it meant that Seifer was right in considering him an equal! On the other hand, that's Seifer's dream! Squall never wanted it, and so Seifer will never really give up on it.
