I know that a lot of people are most likely going to disagree with me, but I think the season so far has been a 8/10 ( ... )

I agree. Downing and Enrique have been brilliant. Adam and Henderson still need time to improve, but it's all about depth.
Have you watched Coates? I haven't really but a lot of journalists seem to rate him so I'm happy.

I think we do need a striker, but hopefully someone younger and not Bellamy! Other than that, if we manage to offload some more deadwood, then I'll be very happy with the transfer season.

I've only seen him in the Copa America. I watched all of Uruguay's matches but I can't remember which matches he played (I don't even remember if he played in all games or not). But from what I remember, he was good. Very good. I was shocked when my comms said he's only 20.

Oh, dnw Bellamy either. Definitely not.

Watch his play in the Paraguay match, he was a beast in that match quite honestly:

I think our general transfer window's been excellent. We've gotten depth/quality, and I really rate Enrique and Downing in particular.

I'm genuinely not pressed about Aquilani. He doesn't want to be here, so the best thing for everyone is if he goes.

I remember noticing Coates during the Copa and being impressed, so I'll be very happy if we sign him, especially at the prices quoted (7-8 million when Cahill would cost twice that amount, and probably a lot more in wages? I'll take it.) Also, I'm sorry, but I will laugh for days if we end up signing a centerback before Arsenal do.

It has been really nice to get through a transfer window without the kind of drama that used to leave me sick of the season before it had even started.

I can't think of too many things which I'm disappointed with:
I'd love Aquilani to stay but whatever.
I was pissed when we missed out on Phil Jones, but I watched him play against Spurs on Monday and he seems to have fully embraced the manc way and was being a twat all over the pitch, so maybe it isn't so bad.

If we can get a CB (Coates please) and another ST (Rodallega? IDK) I'd say it has been a pretty good window. The fact we finally have a left side to the team is enough reason to be happy with how things have gone. I don't think we could have done any better considering we were never going to match the spending of Chelsea and City and we don't have European football.

Oh yeah Jones was such a dick in that match. Glad we didn't sign him now tbh.

I'm bummed he's gone, but glad he's going to get some playing time out of this. Hopefully he will come back to us and play like the beast he has the potential of being

Oh wow, we're signing Coates? That's absolutely awesome. He's great.

This year it's been so hard to keep up with our transfer window :)
