IDK just how good he is (according to wiki A+++?), but he's young and he's a midfielder, so I'm inclining toward approvement.

He is young and english but why pay 20M + Ngog for another CM?
We've two creative Stevie + Raul + Aqua and three defensive Lucas + Jay + Poulsen.
Its not understandable.
CM is not our top priority.
I'm disappointed.

...except that he's not only used as a CM, he can play on the right side as well. also, Aqua is pretty much gone

Raul played at the right for a half of season - and i don't like it.
As for Aqua i still believe that Dalglish will take a look on him at summer. Aqua is quality and we all know it.

...but Henderson is not Meireles, and Henderson was originally a RM but had to start playing as a CM due to injuries in the Sunderland squad so. Raul is, as far as I'm concerned, a natural CM whereas Henderson isn't.
But what's the point in keeping Aqau at Anfield when he clearly doesn't want to be here? I'm sure Kenny rather have players who actually want to play for us.
