THREE MONTHS?!!?!??!?!?!?!?!!??!?!!?

This is so depressing! We've good players. Hopefully Agger will be back soon and I think Kelly was great this season, but this is still so sad. Carra is so much for this team and it would be so depressing not to see him play for three fucking months. ):

I had no idea that a dislocation would sideline him for that long. I thought he would just popped it back into place, rest it for a few days, then go back to playing. He may as well have broken it. Get well soon, Carra. :(

Noooo Carra :(

I'm curious to know exactly what the surgery is b/c my mom actually had surgery on her shoulder last year b/c the joint kept coming out of the socket (it was b/c of an old injury-- she had some synthetic ligaments put in place. It was like a step down from the rotator-cuff surgery a lot of baseball pitchers get).

I had to get surgery done on my shoulder when I got in a car accident a few years back, and basically they use small incisions to go in and o re-establish stability of the humeral head (the ball) in the shallow glenoid socket without screwing up the shoulder range of motion. i didn't need to stay in a hospital or anything, but the rehab was brutal and took forever. then again, i'm certainly not an athlete, so hopefully carra will bounce back quicker than i did

i knew this was going to happen. shoulder injuries are no joke. it took me three months or so to fully recover when i dislocated my shoulder, and i'm not a conditioned athlete. i really hope he takes his time to recover, because it is one of those injuries that you really need to rest and take care of yourself.

agger will be back by christmas, so soto, kelly, and the rest of the defense needs to step up their game

Well, fuck :|

On the bright side, young lads will have the opportunity to show their potential. Maybe Kelly can finally play at CB in Europa League games for instance...
