Alberto Aquilani has been ruled out of Liverpool's Europa League clash with Benfica, manager Rafael Benitez today confirmed.

People have been saying that it might be because of his contract - if he plays a certain number of games we have to pay Roma more money and we can't really afford that. idk it's probably just rumours but he's seemed pretty fit whenever he's played and the fact that he's been out with lots of "illnesses" makes me think there's a chance that might be true?

Hope he's back playing soon anyway, he's class.
