It weighed way too much, but I am a strong beast and carried it up the mountain. It was probably 40+ lbs with the water topped. I definitely have major trimming to do.

where ya goin'? Some place cool with water, rocks, moss, and big trees I suppose?

it's all about practice. As I remember, those AT hikers that my dog used to bark at while they passed through Hot Water, NC all exercised a certain amount of de-aquisition as time went on. It seemed to be a pretty good little business for the backpack shops along the way. Downsize and minimize. Ship the rest home.
